The Nox EA10 Ventus Attack 12K Xtrem is Edu Alonso’s racket for 2026: an attacking diamond with a 12K Xtrem carbon face, a carbon frame and a multilayer MLD Black EVA core. It uses the new mould from NOX’s 2026 Luxury collection, which NOX says improves aerodynamics, and it has a longer grip and a high balance aimed at players who finish points.
It is the second attacking diamond in the NOX line beside the AT10 Genius Attack, at a lower price than Agustín Tapia’s flagship. This review covers the build, the specs, how it should play, who should buy it and what to look at if the US listing sells out.

Our review of the Nox EA10 Ventus Attack
The EA10 Ventus Attack is an attacking diamond with a slightly gentler edge than the AT10 Attack. NOX rates the touch as intermediate to hard, and the multilayer core is designed to give ball exit on finishing shots while staying usable on slower defensive ones. The 12K Xtrem face and the carbon frame keep the structure rigid.
The 2026 mould is the headline change. NOX says it improves aerodynamics and maneuverability, which matters for a racket with a high balance, and the EOS Tunnel perforations in the throat are aimed at the same goal. The longer grip gives a longer lever on smashes and helps two-handed backhands, so it will feel different from a standard-length handle.
We have not played it ourselves, so this is an assessment of the spec sheet and NOX’s own descriptions. On paper it is a firm, head-heavy diamond for advanced attackers who want a lower price and a slightly less extreme feel than the flagship.
Pros
- Strong attacking diamond with a high balance
- 12K Xtrem face and carbon frame for rigidity
- Longer grip for extra reach on overheads
- Dynamic Composite Structure softens the frame-to-face transition
Cons
- Head-heavy and firm, so tiring on the arm
- Premium price from third-party sellers in the US
- Limited US stock
- Not suited to defensive or intermediate players
Who is the Nox EA10 Ventus Attack for?
The EA10 Ventus Attack suits advanced players who attack, smash and finish at the net, and who want a firm, head-heavy diamond with a longer handle. It is a reasonable step for a player who wants the NOX attacking character without the top-of-the-range price.
Who the Nox EA10 Ventus Attack is not for
Skip it if you are new to padel, if you defend from the back or if your arm tires quickly. A firm diamond with a high balance is demanding, and our intermediate racket guide lists more forgiving rackets. Control players should look at the round ML10 Ventus Control.
What to know before you buy the Nox EA10 Ventus Attack
Longer grip
NOX built this racket with a longer handle. That adds a longer lever and helps two-handed backhands, but it also changes the swing weight. If you are used to a standard handle, expect a short adjustment period.
Weight, balance and the 2026 mould
NOX lists 360–375 g with a 38 mm beam and a high attacking balance, without a balance in millimeters. The new 2026 mould and the EOS Tunnel perforations are meant to keep the racket maneuverable despite the head weight.
Prior-season racket
NOX’s 2027 range is already on its store, and the 2027 Ventus Attack 12K Xtrem is listed under Aimar Goñi’s name. The 2026 racket reviewed here is therefore last season’s frame, which tends to mean a lower price, though US prices depend on stock.
How the Nox EA10 Ventus Attack plays
Smashes and the vibora: A high balance, a diamond head and a longer grip are a strong combination for overheads. See our guides to the kick smash and the vibora.
Volleys: The firm face and the stable frame send volleys deep, although the head weight makes very fast exchanges harder than with a lighter racket.
Defense: The multilayer core helps on slow defensive balls, but a high-balance diamond is never the easiest racket to defend with.
Spin: The Dual Spin surface adds bite, and downward shots such as the bandeja and the vibora gain the most.
Nox EA10 Ventus Attack vs the alternatives
Inside NOX, the AT10 Genius Attack is the stiffer flagship attacker, and the AT10 Genius 18K is a softer teardrop. Outside NOX, the Bullpadel Hack 04 and the Head Extreme Motion are comparable attacking diamonds. Our best rackets for advanced players guide compares the wider field.
For the versatile teardrop version see the EA10 Ventus Hybrid, and for the lighter one the Ventus Hybrid Lite.
Similar rackets if the Nox EA10 Ventus Attack sells out
This US listing is often down to a handful of units, so here are the closest alternatives:
- Nox AT10 Genius Attack: the stiffer, more expensive attacking diamond from the same brand
- Head Extreme Motion: a 360 g high-balance diamond with a unidirectional carbon face, at a lower price
- Bullpadel Hack 04: a power diamond with a high balance and a firm face
- Bullpadel Vertex 05: an all-round diamond with a larger sweet spot and a softer feel
Is the Nox EA10 Ventus Attack worth it?
At about $345 from third-party sellers in the US, the EA10 Ventus Attack is expensive for last season’s racket, and NOX’s own store lists it at roughly 180 euros after a 47% discount. It is worth it only if you want this exact racket and accept the US premium. For most players the Head Extreme Motion or the Bullpadel Hack 04 offer similar character for less.
Conclusion
The Nox EA10 Ventus Attack is a firm, head-heavy attacking diamond with a 12K Xtrem face and a longer grip. Its strengths are power, reach and a rigid frame. Its weaknesses are the head weight, the firm feel and the US price.

How heavy is the Nox EA10 Ventus Attack and what is the balance?
NOX lists 360–375 g with a 38 mm beam and a high attacking balance. It does not publish a balance in millimeters for this racket.
What is the difference between the EA10 Ventus Attack and the AT10 Genius Attack?
Both are attacking diamonds with a 12K carbon face and a MLD Black EVA core. The AT10 Genius Attack is the stiffer flagship for Agustín Tapia at 100% stiffness on NOX’s scale, while the EA10 Ventus Attack has a touch rated intermediate to hard and a lower price.
Who plays the Nox EA10 Ventus Attack?

What is Dynamic Composite Structure on a NOX racket?
Dynamic Composite Structure adds material from the frame about four centimeters into the face. NOX says this evens out the difference in hardness between frame and face and reduces the risk of fiber breakage on hits with the edge of the racket.
What is EOS Tunnel?
EOS Tunnel is a set of side perforations in the throat of the racket. NOX says they improve aerodynamics, handling and weight distribution, making the racket faster and more precise on every shot.
Does the Nox EA10 Ventus Attack have a longer handle?
Yes. NOX says the racket has a longer grip that gives a longer lever on powerful shots and helps two-handed backhands.
Is the Nox EA10 Ventus Attack worth about $345?
Only if you want this exact racket, because the US price is well above NOX’s own store price after its discount. A comparable attacking diamond from Head or Bullpadel usually costs less.
