The Nox AT10 Genius Attack is the offensive version of Agustín Tapia’s 2025 racket: a diamond with a stiff 12K carbon face and a multilayer MLD Black EVA core. NOX made it at the request of attacking players who wanted something more solid and rigid than the standard AT10 Genius, and it sits at the top of the brand’s stiffness scale.
It is also a racket that sells out. The 2025 Attack has disappeared from NOX’s own store and the US listing is often down to its last units, so this review also covers what replaced it and which similar rackets are still easy to find. The standard racket is reviewed separately in our Nox AT10 Genius 12K review.

Our review of the Nox AT10 Genius Attack
The AT10 Genius Attack is easy to describe: it is the hardest, most attacking version of the 2025 AT10. NOX’s own comparison table gives both the standard 12K and the Attack 12K a stiffness of 100%, against 75% for the 18K Alum versions, and labels the Attack’s playing style offensive. The difference from the standard 12K is the shape and the balance, not the face.
The 12K carbon face and the multilayer core give a solid, direct response, and the diamond head with a high balance puts weight where the smash and the vibora need it. The Exclusive Spin surface, with its hexagonal center and sand finish, adds bite for players who like to brush the ball on overheads.
We have not played it ourselves, so this is an assessment of the spec sheet and NOX’s own descriptions. A racket this stiff rewards good technique and strong arms, and gives little back on a mishit, so it is a finisher’s racket rather than an all-rounder.
Pros
- Very stiff 12K carbon face for direct power
- Diamond head with a high balance for smashes
- Exclusive Spin surface for spin on overheads
- Pulse System and Custom Grip damp vibration
Cons
- Hardest feel in the AT10 range, tiring on the arm
- Small margin for error on off-center hits
- 2025 model with limited stock in the US
- Not suited to players below advanced level
Who is the Nox AT10 Genius Attack for?
The AT10 Genius Attack suits advanced players with a fast, attacking game who finish at the net, smash often and want a stiff racket that does not flex under their swing. It also suits players who like the AT10 Genius but find it too versatile and want more punch.
Who the Nox AT10 Genius Attack is not for
Skip it if you are new to padel, if your elbow or shoulder is sensitive or if you play a defensive game. A stiff diamond is tiring and unforgiving, and our tennis elbow racket guide lists softer rackets. The teardrop AT10 Genius 18K is the more comfortable choice in the same family.
What to know before you buy the Nox AT10 Genius Attack
Stock and the 2026 replacements
NOX has removed the 2025 AT10 Genius Attack 12K from its own store, and the US listing tends to be down to a few units. NOX’s 2026 range replaces it with the AT10 Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem, which uses an HR3 Hard EVA core, a slightly longer handle and a Weight Balance system, and the AT10 Genius Attack 18K Alum, a diamond with a high balance and a slightly softer 18K aluminized carbon face. The 2026 versions are covered in the section below.
Weight and balance
NOX lists the AT10 Luxury rackets at about 360–375 g with a 38 mm beam, and it does not publish a balance in millimeters for the Attack. The Attack is a high-balance racket by design. Try a fresh overgrip and warm up properly before long sessions, because a stiff, head-heavy diamond loads the arm.
Attack versus the standard AT10 Genius 12K
Both rackets have a 12K carbon face and the same stiffness rating. The standard racket is a teardrop for versatile play, described in our AT10 Genius 12K review, and the Attack is a diamond with a higher balance for players who mainly finish points.
How the Nox AT10 Genius Attack plays
Smashes and the vibora: This is the reason to buy it. The high balance, the diamond head and the stiff face give head weight and a direct response. Our guides to the kick smash and the vibora cover the technique.
Volleys at the net: The stiff frame sends the ball away with little effort, so the racket rewards a short, firm volley more than a long swing.
Defense: The weak side of the racket. A head-heavy diamond with no give is harder to control on defensive blocks and lobs.
Bandeja: The bandeja is possible but demanding, because the head weight makes a controlled, slow swing harder.
Nox AT10 Genius Attack vs the alternatives
Inside NOX, the AT10 Genius 18K is the softer teardrop, and the EA10 Ventus Attack is the other attacking diamond. Outside NOX, the Bullpadel Hack 04 and the Vertex 05 are power diamonds. Our best rackets for advanced players guide compares the wider field.
Similar rackets if the Nox AT10 Genius Attack sells out
The 2025 Attack is hard to find, so these are the closest rackets that are easier to buy. Each one keeps the attacking diamond idea with a slightly different feel:
- Nox AT10 Genius Attack 18K Alum 2026: the current Attack, a diamond with a high balance and an aluminized 18K carbon face that is a little softer than the 12K
- Nox EA10 Ventus Attack 12K Xtrem: a diamond with a 12K Xtrem face and a high balance, a little cheaper than the flagship AT10
- Bullpadel Hack 04: a power diamond with a high balance, for players who want the same finishing style from a different brand
- Nox AT10 Genius 12K: the same 12K carbon face in a teardrop, for players who want the stiffness with a larger sweet spot
Is the Nox AT10 Genius Attack worth it?
At about $209 for a 2025 racket that is almost gone, the AT10 Genius Attack is good value for an advanced attacker, because the 2026 versions list at higher prices. The catch is stock, so check the current offer and decide quickly. It is poor value for anyone who is not an advanced, attacking player.
Conclusion
The Nox AT10 Genius Attack is a stiff, offensive diamond with a 12K carbon face and a high balance. Its strengths are direct power and spin. Its weaknesses are the hard feel, a small margin for error and patchy stock.
Choose it if you finish points and have the arm for a stiff racket. If it is sold out, use the similar rackets above, and browse our best padel rackets roundup for every level.
Frequently asked questions about the Nox AT10 Genius Attack
Is the Nox AT10 Genius Attack a power racket?
Yes. NOX labels its playing style offensive, and the diamond shape, the high balance and the 12K carbon face at 100% stiffness are all built for power on smashes and finishing shots.
What is the difference between the AT10 Genius Attack 12K and the AT10 Genius 12K?
Both use a 12K carbon face and a multilayer MLD Black EVA core at the same stiffness. The standard racket is a teardrop for versatile play, and the Attack is a diamond with a higher balance for attacking players. Our AT10 Genius 12K review covers the standard racket.
What is the difference between the Attack 12K and the Attack 18K Alum?
NOX rates the 12K carbon face at 100% stiffness and the aluminized 18K face at 75%, so the 12K is firmer and more direct while the 18K Alum is a little softer and more comfortable. Both are diamonds with a high balance.
Is the Nox AT10 Genius Attack still made?
NOX has removed the 2025 racket from its own store. Its 2026 range includes the AT10 Genius Attack 12K Alum Xtrem and the AT10 Genius Attack 18K Alum, and remaining 2025 stock is sold by third-party sellers.
How heavy is the Nox AT10 Genius Attack?
NOX lists the AT10 Luxury rackets at about 360–375 g with a 38 mm beam. It does not publish a separate weight or a balance in millimeters for the Attack.
Is the Nox AT10 Genius Attack good for intermediate players?
Usually not. The face is very stiff, the balance is high and the racket gives little on off-center hits, so it suits advanced players. Intermediates will find a softer teardrop more forgiving.
What is EOS Flap on a NOX racket?
EOS Flap is a NOX feature that redistributes weight and optimizes the handling of the racket, which NOX says makes it faster in defensive shots even though the racket is built for attack.
Is the Nox AT10 Genius Attack worth about $209?
Yes for an advanced attacker who can find it, because it costs less than the 2026 versions. The limited stock is the main risk, so check the listing before you commit.
