The Nox Equation Hard is NOX’s round racket for intermediate players who want control and precision without paying flagship money: a carbon frame, 3K fiberglass faces, a medium balance and an Anti Vibration System, at about $175 in the US. NOX says it keeps the combination of maneuverability, control and precision the Equation line is known for.
It is the firmer of the two 2026 Equation rackets. Our Nox Equation review covers the softer version with the HR3 core. This review covers the Hard: the build, the specs, how it should play, who should buy it and how to choose between the two.
